This is where I’m supposed to write a witty and inspiring blurb outlining my 25+ years of experience in the Toronto entertainment scene. Where I should explain that I’ve worked on all sides of the glass, from directing to casting, coaching to agenting, and writing to performing. Because that’s what you’re supposed to do in the About Me section of a website.

I’m thinking I should probably write this in the third person. Everything sounds more important in 3rd person. Lindsey also realizes she can get away with shameless self-promotion and flattery if she writes in 3rd person because she's just that insightful.

She assumes that the average attention span has waned at this point and no one will actually read the 3rd paragraph of an About Me, and so she’s going to fill it with unnecessary information to make this look longer and therefore more impressive. Just like she did in her 3rd year English paper, and no, the professor did not notice.

Lindsey is passionate about working with creative people. Her goal is to create an environment where everyone feels confident and safe to play. And if you don’t believe me, just ask her. She casts, she directs, she acts, and she writes; she even plays hockey (not particularly well), but she still enjoys it. She’s looking for other like-minded creatives to collaborate with, and if that’s you, she's looking forward to connecting.
